The McCracken County Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Carbondale Terriers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, McCracken County moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Daviess County (Owensboro, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, March 25. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 1-0. Daviess County won 9-0 in their recent non-league game against Butler County (Morgantown, KY)

In their next game, the Terriers clash with the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 26. Carbondale will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Marshals come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Massac County (Metropolis, IL).
