Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors (Knoxville, TN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. Sequatchie County will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-4 league loss to Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Christian Academy of Knoxville falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN) to battle the Pounders in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. The Pounders enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Chattanooga Central lost 22-4 in their recent league challenge against Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN)
