Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS) and the visiting West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS), witnessed Myrtle's softball squad tip West Union by a count of 5-0.

The Hawks now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Ingomar for a non-league match on Friday, March 25. Myrtle will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Smithville (Smithville, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, West Union moves to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to meet the Urchins in a non-league match on Friday, March 25. The Urchins go into the match with a record of 8-3. East Union won 5-4 in their recent league match against Belmont (Belmont, MS)
