California High School Softball - Sutter bounces Newark Memorial

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) and the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), witnessed Sutter's softball squad tip Newark Memorial by a count of 6-1.

The Huskies now sport a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Churchill County for a non-league match on Friday, March 25. Sutter will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Greenwave record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Newark Memorial moves to 4-6 on the season. The Cougars host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to meet the Greenwave in a non-league match on Friday, March 25.
