California High School Softball - Santa Ynez can't get by Orcutt Academy

The Orcutt Academy Spartans softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Santa Ynez Pirates to 14 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Orcutt Academy moves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Spartans host Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA) to clash with the Conquistadores in a non-league game on Saturday, April 2. The Conquistadores come into the game with a record of 4-9.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) in a Channel game, on Tuesday, March 29. Santa Ynez will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Conquistadores come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA).
