Washington High School Softball - Shorewood nudges Snohomish

Shorewood Thunderbirds (Shoreline, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Snohomish Panthers (Snohomish, WA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Thunderbirds now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Everett for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, March 28. Shorewood will battle a Seagulls squad coming off a 21-1 non-league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Seagulls record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Snohomish falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Stanwood (Stanwood, WA) to battle the Spartans in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Friday, April 1. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
