Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT) and the visiting West Jordan Jaguars (West Jordan, UT), witnessed Westlake's softball squad prevail over West Jordan by a count of 15-5.

The Thunder now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Corner Canyon for a 6A Region 4 match on Tuesday, March 29. Westlake will face a Chargers squad coming off a 18-4 non-league loss to Box Elder (Brigham City, UT). The Chargers record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, West Jordan moves to 7-4 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Riverton (Riverton, UT) to face the Silverwolves in a 6A Region 3 match on Tuesday, March 29. The Silverwolves go into the match with a record of 10-0. Riverton won 10-0 in their recent league match against Herriman (West Herriman, UT)
