The Churchill Chargers baseball squad scored 6 runs and restricted the visiting Alexander Bulldogs to 5 in the Chargers non-league win on Saturday.
With the win, Churchill upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Chargers travel to Lee (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Volunteers in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Volunteers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Lee lost 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Lehman (Kyle, TX)
With the defeat, Alexander falls to 6-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host United South (Laredo, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. United South lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Harlan (San Antonio, TX)
