Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) and the host St. Christopher's Saints (Richmond, VA), saw Bishop O'Connell's baseball squad knock off St. Christopher's by a count of 7-2.
The Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Cadets go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Benedictine edged Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA), 8-0, in a non-league match.
The Saints (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Potomac School was overwhelmed by Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD), 8-0, in a non-league match.
