California High School Baseball - Nevada Union wallops Center

March 25, 2023: Grass Valley, CA 95945

Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), 11-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nevada Union upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Miners host Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to battle the Fighting Zebras in a Foothill Valley League test on Monday, March 27. The Fighting Zebras come into the test with a record of 1-2. Lincoln won 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Las Plumas (Oroville, CA)

With the defeat, Center falls to 2-6 on the season. The Cougars host Wheatland (Wheatland, CA) to battle the Pirates in a Pioneer Valley League test on Thursday, March 30. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 5-4. Wheatland won 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Winters (Winters, CA)
