The Central Spartans baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting San Diego Cavers to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans (3-9) will now prepare for their match against Holtville (Holtville, CA). The Vikings go into the Imperial Valley match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Holtville tipped Calexico (Calexico, CA), 9-4, in a non-league match.
The Cavers (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Chula Vista was overwhelmed by Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
