The Kosciusko Whippets got by the host East Webster Wolverines baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Whippets now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast Lauderdale for a 4A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, March 28. Kosciusko will face a Trojans team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
Next, the Wolverines face the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 27. East Webster will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 8-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Corinth (Corinth, MS).
