In Saturday's non-league game, the host West Harrison Hurricanes baseball team scored a tight 11-4 victory over the Moss Point Tigers.
The Hurricanes (5-14) will now prepare for their game against Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS). The Blue Devils go into the 5A Region 7 game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Pearl River Central tipped Long Beach (Long Beach, MS), 5-1, in a league game.
The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 8 game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Bay was overwhelmed by Vancleave (Vancleave, MS), 11-1, in a non-league game.
