The Van Vandals baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Palmer Bulldogs to 6 in the Vandals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vandals (16-5) will now prepare for their match against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region II District 16 match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Chapel Hill was overwhelmed by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Newman International Academy (Cedar Hill, TX). The Warriors go into the 3A Region II District 9 match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Newman International Academy gained a win over Madison (Dallas, TX), 15-3, in a league match.
