The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) and the host Golden Sierra Grizzlies (Garden Valley, CA), saw Cordova's volleyball squad beat Golden Sierra by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Cordova upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Lancers host Foothill (Sacramento, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Greater Sacramento bout on Tuesday, March 28. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Foothill won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Valley (Sacramento, CA)

The Grizzlies now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Center for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 25. Golden Sierra will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Woodland (Woodland, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-9.
