In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Firebaugh Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Magnolia Science Academy 2 Mustang.
The Falcons (18-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Lynwood lost by La Mirada (La Mirada, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Mustang encounter the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars (Lake Balboa, CA) in a Central Valley battle, on Monday, March 27. Magnolia Science Academy 2 will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA).
