The Sage Hill Lightning volleyball team (Newport Beach, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA)

The Barons (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Paramount (Paramount, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Paramount was dropped by Downey (Downey, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lightning encounter the Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 25. Sage Hill will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Saxons enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA).
