The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) and the host Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE), saw Columbus's soccer squad get by Bennington by a margin of 1-0.
The Discoverers now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Papillion-LaVista for a non-league test on Thursday, March 30. Columbus will meet a Monarchs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Benson (Omaha, NE). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Bennington drops to 1-2 on the season. The Badgers host Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE) to meet the Antlers in a non-league test on Monday, March 27. The Antlers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Elkhorn lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Scotus (Columbus, NE)
