The Pittsburg Pirates crushed the host Hayward Farmers baseball team by a tally of 16-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a bout on Tuesday, March 28. Pittsburg will face a Lions team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-5.
Next, the Farmers face the American Eagles (Fremont, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 1. Hayward will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record.
