The Papillion-LaVista Monarchs baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Lincoln Southeast Knights to 6 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Monarchs (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Norfolk was overwhelmed by North Star (Lincoln, NE), 9-4, in a non-league match.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Lincoln Southwest edged Grand Island (Grand Island, NE), 13-4, in a league match.
