University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR), 17-10 in a non-league test.
With the win, University Prep upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Panthers host Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-2. Mt. Shasta lost 25-0 in their recent non-league test against Yreka (Yreka, CA)
With the defeat, Phoenix falls to 0-2 on the season.
