California High School Softball - El Capitan gets by Scripps Ranch

March 25, 2023: Lakeside, CA 92040

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) and the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), witnessed El Capitan's softball squad tip Scripps Ranch by a count of 6-5.

The Vaqueros now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mater Dei Catholic for a non-league match on Saturday, March 25. El Capitan will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Santana (Santee, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Scripps Ranch moves to 6-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Valley Center (Valley Center, CA) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league match on Monday, March 27. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 0-3.
