The Red Bluff Spartans softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host West Valley Eagles to 5 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Red Bluff moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Spartans host Chico (Chico, CA) to play the Panthers in a game on Monday, March 27. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 2-3. Chico won 9-8 in their recent non-league game against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA)
In their next game, the Eagles play the Los Molinos Bulldogs (Los Molinos, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 29. West Valley will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record.
