Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), 17-2 in a non-league test.

The Falcons now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 28. Briar Woods will play a Pride team coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Independence (Ashburn, VA). The Pride record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Jefferson Forest drops to 2-2 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Bishops in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 28. The Bishops go into the match with a record of 0-2. Virginia Episcopal School lost 9-7 in their recent non-league match against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA)
