North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Northern Durham tipped by Watauga

March 25, 2023: Boone, NC 28607

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Watauga Pioneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Northern Durham Knights.

The Pioneers now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Asheville for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills test on Tuesday, March 28. Watauga will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.

In their next game, the Knights face the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) in a DAC-VII/Northern Lakes Athletic test, on Tuesday, April 4. Northern Durham will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Cary (Cary, NC).
