With the triumph, Capistrano Valley moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Cougars host Villa Park (Villa Park, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 30. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 12-4. Villa Park lost 5-0 in their recent league contest against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 25. Mira Costa will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 27-0 league win over University (Irvine, CA).
