Capital Golden Eagles (Boise, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Weiser Wolverines (Weiser, ID), 25-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jerome for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Capital will face a Tigers squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Nampa (Nampa, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Weiser falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Parma (Parma, ID) to face the Panthers in a 3A Snake River Valley challenge on Monday, April 3. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Parma won 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Payette (Payette, ID)
