The Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) softball routed the host University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA), 20-11 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Redhawks (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, St. Joseph's - Plaucheville was routed by Bunkie (Bunkie, LA), 5-1, in a non-league bout.
The Cubs now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 30. University Lab will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 11-6.
