In Saturday's non-league contest, the South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Coffee County Central Red Raiders (Manchester, TN), by a margin of 15-3.
With the triumph, South Gibson moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN) to play the Falcons in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 25. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 10-1. Lincoln County won 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against Castle (Newburgh, IN)
In their next game, the Red Raiders play the Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 25. Coffee County Central will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Highlanders come into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 15-7 non-league win over Riverdale (Murfreesboro, TN).
