In Saturday's non-league contest, the Girls Prep Bruisers (Chattanooga, TN) softball team the visiting Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN), by a margin of 7-5.
With the triumph, Girls Prep moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Bruisers host Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN) to play the Fighting Irish in a D II-AA East contest on Tuesday, March 28. The Fighting Irish come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Knoxville Catholic lost 16-1 in their recent non-league contest against Cocke County (Newport, TN)
In their next game, the Golden Eagles play the Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 27. Rhea County will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
