The Huntland Hornets the host Ripley Tigers softball squad by a final score of 6-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Hornets (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against New Hope (New Hope, AL). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, New Hope nudged Cordova (Cordova, AL), 11-10, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Union City for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 30. Ripley will meet a Golden Tornadoes squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Brighton (Brighton, TN). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 0-3.
