Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Irish now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cypress for a Empire challenge on Tuesday, April 4.
