Alabama High School Softball - New Hope bounces Ohatchee

The New Hope Indians routed the visiting Ohatchee Indians softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Indians (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against Madison County (Gurley, AL). The Tigers go into the 4A Area 14 battle with a 17-4 record. In their last battle, Madison County was routed by Buckhorn (New Market, AL), 6-5, in a non-league battle.

The Indians now sport a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to IC Catholic Prep for a non-league battle on Monday, March 27. Ohatchee will meet a Knights squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
