California High School Softball - Ponderosa nudges Oak Ridge

March 25, 2023: El Dorado Hills, CA 95762

Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Inderkum for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Ponderosa will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Oak Ridge falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Whitney (Rocklin, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Monday, March 27. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Whitney won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Del Oro (Loomis, CA)
