The Merritt Oilers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Cordell Blue Devils to 1 in the Oilers non-league victory on Monday.
The Oilers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Mangum (Mangum, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Mangum gained a win over Hobart (Hobart, OK), 16-1, in a non-league match.
The Blue Devils (0-14) will now prepare for their match against Snyder (Snyder, OK). The Cyclones go into the Shortgrass match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Snyder was overwhelmed by Sayre (Sayre, OK), 14-2, in a league match.
