The Shanksville Stonycreek Vikings baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Hancock Panthers to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Berlin Brothersvalley was overwhelmed by Everett (Everett, PA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies go into the Western Maryland match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Northern tipped Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 7-3, in a league match.
