The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host St. Mary's Knights to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions now have a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to BASIS Phoenix for a 4A North Central game on Tuesday, March 26. St. John Paul II Catholic will meet a Firebirds team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 3-4.
The Knights (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Valley Christian gained a win over Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league game.
