South Carolina High School Lacrosse - Chapin overwhelms Hilton Head Island

The Chapin Eagles lacrosse team scored 17 points and limited the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks to 6 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Silver Foxes enter the 5A Lower District 4 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Dutch Fork defeated White Knoll (Lexington, SC), 16-5, in a league match.
With the defeat, Hilton Head Island drops to 8-3 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to play the Bengals in a 4A match on Thursday, March 28. The Bengals go into the match with a record of 6-6. Lucy Beckham lost 21-3 in their recent non-league match against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
