The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), saw Hickory's soccer squad triumph over Freedom by a count of 5-0.

The Red Tornadoes now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A test on Tuesday, March 26. Hickory will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Freedom drops to 5-3 on the season. The Patriots host Draughn (Valdese, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 27. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-2. Draughn lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Madison (Marshall, NC)
