The Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA) baseball trounced the host La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA), 9-2 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 26. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 3-5 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Portland, OR).

The Torreys (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Monte Vista was overwhelmed by Morse (San Diego, CA), 9-5, in a non-league game.
