East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 27. East Coweta will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 10-0 league win over Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA).

The Vikings now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Northside for a 5A Area 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Northgate will confront a Patriots team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Drew (Riverdale, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-9.
