The Bayard Rustin Golden Knights softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Villa Maria Academy Hurricanes to 5 in the Golden Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Bayard Rustin improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Golden Knights travel to Kennett (Kennett Square, PA) to clash with the Blue Demons in a Ches-Mont game on Tuesday, April 2. The Blue Demons come into the game with a record of 0-2. Kennett lost 15-2 in their recent league game against Henderson (West Chester, PA)

In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Henderson Warriors (West Chester, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 27. Villa Maria Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 12-1 league loss to Coatesville (Coatesville, PA).
