Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) and the visiting Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), witnessed St. Mary's Ryken's softball squad tip Calvert by a count of 2-0.

The Knights now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop McNamara for a Washington Catholic match on Tuesday, March 26. St. Mary's Ryken will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Calvert moves to 0-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to face the Braves in a Southern Maryland match on Monday, April 8. The Braves go into the match with a record of 1-0.
