The Grayson County Cougars softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Caverna Colonels to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Grayson County moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Butler County (Morgantown, KY) to clash with the Bears in a District 12 game on Tuesday, March 26. The Bears come into the game with a record of 0-4. Butler County lost 17-2 in their recent non-league game against Assumption (Louisville, KY)

In their next game, the Colonels clash with the Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) in a District 18 game, on Tuesday, March 26. Caverna will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY).
