In Monday's non-league contest, the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA), by a margin of 9-0.

With the triumph, Edison moves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Chargers travel to Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to clash with the Griffins in a Sunset test on Tuesday, March 26. The Griffins come into the test with a record of 13-3. Los Alamitos won 5-2 in their recent league test against Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA)

The Vaqueros (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Patriots come into the Pacific Coast test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Beckman was routed by Woodbridge (Irvine, CA), 10-0, in a league test.
