Washington High School Softball - Edmonds-Woodway drops to Monroe

Spectators at Monday's league match between the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) and the visiting Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA), witnessed Monroe's softball squad prevail over Edmonds-Woodway by a count of 20-5.

The Bearcats now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kamiak for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. Monroe will meet a Knights squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Lynnwood (Bothell, WA). The Knights record now stands at 8-0.

With the loss, Edmonds-Woodway moves to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cascade (Everett, WA) to meet the Bruins in a 2A/3A Wesco match on Wednesday, March 27. The Bruins go into the match with a record of 2-1. Cascade won 13-3 in their recent league match against Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA)
