Minster Wildcats (Minster, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Elida Bulldogs (Elida, OH), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Celina for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Minster will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to St. Henry (St. Henry, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Elida falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to New Bremen (New Bremen, OH) to face the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
