George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tippecanoe Red Devils (Tipp City, OH), 18-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. George Washington will face a Stallions squad coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Stallions record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Tippecanoe falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red devils host James Madison (Vienna, VA) to face the Warhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Warhawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. James Madison won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverside (Painesville, OH)
