The Stratford Knights softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting James Island Trojans to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Stratford moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC) to clash with the Stags in a AAAAA Region 6 game on Wednesday, March 27. The Stags come into the game with a record of 5-3. Berkeley won 12-0 in their recent league game against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 game, on Wednesday, March 27. James Island will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 8-5 league win over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
