The Kamiak Knights softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Lynnwood Royals to 2 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Kamiak moves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Knights host Monroe (Monroe, WA) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 26. The Bearcats come into the game with a record of 3-1. Monroe won 20-5 in their recent league game against Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA)

In their next game, the Royals clash with the Shorecrest Scots (Seattle, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco game, on Monday, April 1. Lynnwood will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Scots come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Lake Stevens (Lake Stevens, WA).
